​​SYNOPSIS

 

Faced with a sudden terminal diagnosis, the 55-year old protaganist chooses a short, meaningful life over a long, painful survival. Armed with a final bucket list, he sets out to secure his legacy and reconcile his past. But as he navigates his darkest hours alongside an enigmatic companion, he realizes that fixing his life isn't about ticking off boxes—it’s about having the courage to give his unspoken fears a voice. 

Veezhven Endru Ninaithayo is a gripping exploration of the vital conversations we avoid, the relationships that define us, and the ultimate realization that the pursuit of happiness isn't a slow walk, but a sprint against time.

Dummies Drama (India)

Dummies Drama is a highly respected Tamil theatre ensemble from Chennai, India, with a creative legacy spanning over 25 years. Renowned for its depth of storytelling and artistic integrity, the group has staged more than 50 award-winning Tamil theatre productions, earning recognition for both innovation and consistency. What distinguishes Dummies Drama is its unique collective of professionals, artists drawn from fields such as IT, engineering, and corporate sectors who are united by a shared passion for theatre. This diversity of lived experience enriches their work, allowing the group to explore complex social, emotional, and philosophical themes with authenticity and nuance. Dummies Drama Theatre Group is known for its commitment to original Tamil writing, rigorous rehearsal processes, and audience-centric performances that resonate across generations. Their ability to balance intellectual depth with emotional accessibility makes them a valuable partner bringing credibility, experience, and compelling contemporary Tamil theatre to international and diaspora audiences.

V. Sreevathson 


Sreevathson is a titan of contemporary Tamil theatre, uniquely blending the precision of a Chartered Accountant with the boundless imagination of a veteran playwright. In 1998, he founded the Chennai-based troupe Dummies Drama, which has since evolved into a powerhouse of the stage. Under his leadership, the 40-member ensemble has delivered over 1,200 performances across India, bringing more than 50 award-winning productions to life. Sreevathson is credited with modernizing the Tamil stage through his prolific output of 50+ original scripts. With nearly three decades of theatrical excellence, Sreevathson redefines storytelling. His work is celebrated for its versatility, seamlessly navigating through Philosophical Narratives and complex biographies, High-Quality Humor and imaginative fantasy.  His 2004 play, Vinodhaya Sitham, achieved widespread acclaim when it was adapted into a 2021 OTT film directed by the filmmaker Samuthirakanni. A consistent force at the Kartik Fine Arts’ Kodai Nataka Vizha, Sreevathson’s contribution to the arts has been recognized with the industry’s highest honors such as Nataka Choodamani (Krishna Gana Sabha), Vani Kala Sudhakara (Brahma Gana Sabha), Nataka Mudhra Award, Crazy Mohan Award of Excellence presented by Dr. Kamal Haasan. 

 

V. Sridhar 


A pillar of Dummies Drama since its inception, Sridhar holds the singular distinction of having performed in every one of the 50+ plays written by Sreevathson. Known affectionately as “Sridhar Anna,” he has carved a niche for himself in the hearts of theatre-goers through his impeccable timing, effortless body language, and a wit that defines the modern Tamil stage. While his roles in hits like Vinodaya Chittam, Udyogam Vayasu Lakshnam, Payanam, Ardhanari, and Oliyum Oleyum established him as a premier humorist, Sridhar’s talent extends far beyond comedy. He has delivered breathtaking, "lived-in" performances in diverse roles - The relatable Maths Teacher in Parikshai; The compelling protagonist in the docu-drama Vayu; A powerful portrayal of Shri Nani Palkivala in Dharaniyin Perumai; His legendary performance as Shankaran in Athithi. Sridhar’s shelf is a testament to his consistency and excellence. His honors include - Multiple wins of Best Performer Award (Kodai Nataka Vizha); Best Comedian (Kodai Nataka Vizha 2026 - For his standout role in the new production, thanimAI); Nataka Choodamani Award (Krishna Gana Sabha); Life Time Achievement Award (From Kartik Fine Arts). In a crowning moment for his storied career, Humour Club International is felicitating Sridhar on July 26th, 2026, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his monumental contribution to Tamil Theatre. 

 

Prasanna Sridharan


Prasanna is a versatile playwright, performer, and creative director at the forefront of contemporary Tamil theatre. With a career spanning over a decade, primarily as a cornerstone of Chennai’s acclaimed Dummies Drama, Prasanna has authored nearly ten plays that challenge traditional stagecraft. His signature style—defined by sharp social and corporate satire and minimalist, dialogue-light narratives—has earned him prestigious awards, including Nataka Nakshatra (Bharat Kalachar), Kodai Nataka Vizha, and Karthik Fine Arts' Theatre Excellence Awards for Writing and Direction.  Prasanna’s influence extends globally, with scripts staged across Singapore, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting the universal resonance and contemporary relevance of his writing. His recent Singapore-based contributions—including Minnuyir Thozhi (adapted as Ah Laksa! for Agam’s Panikkan, 2024), Parapet Aasanam (Agam’s VUCA, 2025), and Interconnected (Thespian Sabha, 2025)—exemplify his ability to blend wit with a modern sensibility that resonates across cultures. 

 

Dr. Bhoovarahan T N (Bhoo)


Bhoo is a seasoned theatre practitioner and strategic leader, who has made more than 200 stage appearances across Chennai’s prestigious professional circuit. Groomed by the powerhouse troupes such as Dummies Drama, Shraddha, and Alchemy Theatres, Bhoo’s dedication to the craft is matched by his commitment to its governance. He currently serves as a Trustee for Dummies Drama and an Advisor for the Alchemy Academy of Performing Arts. Bhoo’s performances are marked by depth and precision, earning him the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Kodai Nadaga Vizha for his portrayal of Dharmakartha in Kanavu Meipada. His technical foundation is underpinned by a Professional Diploma in Performing Arts from Trinity College London. Since relocating to Singapore, Bhoo has steadily integrated into the local arts scene, contributing to the growth of Tamil theatre through diverse creative roles. His journey is highlighted by his evocative performances, most notably in Ah Laksa! staged at Agam's Panikkan 2024. Beyond his work on stage, he has been instrumental in co-founding Thespian Sabha, a Tamil theatre collective where he applies his organizational expertise to mentor emerging artists and foster a supportive environment for skill building.  Offstage, Bhoo is a Serial Entrepreneur and Angel Investor with a formidable academic and professional pedigree. 

 

Preethi Sivarajan


With over 25 years of experience in Tamil theatre, Preethi is an accomplished practitioner and educator with expertise spanning acting, direction, and production design. A long-term leading performer with Dummies Drama, she has been a vital contributor across all departments, notably serving as the costume designer for Tamil theatre's first Broadway-style musical and co-directing multiple acclaimed productions. Her stage excellence is marked by two Best Actress awards for her roles in Viswaroopam (2007) and Payanam (2014), and her contributions have been recognized in prominent media outlets like The Indian Express and Amudhasurabhi. Beyond the stage, Preeti is a dedicated drama educator specializing in translating professional techniques into engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences. Having designed and facilitated impactful workshops at Hansel & Gretel Play School, she focuses on using theatre to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration in students. By blending her technical background in costume and makeup with a holistic approach to storytelling, she continues to foster self-expression and imaginative growth in the next generation of performers.
 

Kanchana Bhoovarahan


Kanchana is a versatile theatre practitioner and director whose multidisciplinary approach is rooted in over 100 performances across Chennai’s premier troupes, including Dummies Drama, Theatre Marina, Mahalakshmi Ladies Drama Group and Alchemy Theatres. Her craft is informed by formal training in Carnatic vocals and diverse dance forms—ranging from Bharatanatyam to Tamil Folk and Contemporary movement—and is anchored by a Professional Diploma in Performing Arts from Trinity College London. Since moving to Singapore, Kanchana has expanded her repertoire as a performer and director with Sing'theatre and Agam Theatre Lab. Her commitment to cultural storytelling is reflected in her work curating Indian performances for the Overseas Family School, as well as her choreography being featured at the Fengshan Community Club. Her directorial debut in Ah Laksa! at Agam's Panikkan (2024) served as the catalyst for co-founding Thespian Sabha, a collective dedicated to nurturing theatrical talent in an experimental environment. A BITS Pilani graduate with a background in technology marketing, she brings a meticulous, strategic lens to her leadership. Kanchana currently focuses on the intersection of Musical Theatre and skill development of emerging artists, blending technical precision with a deep passion for performance.
 

Sri Ganesh Lakshminarayanan (SriG) 


For over 15 years, SriG has woven himself into the fabric of Singapore’s Tamil arts landscape. His multi-disciplinary approach to theatre has seen him masterfully balance roles as an actor, producer, writer, and assistant director in over a dozen of stage productions. SriG’s literary pen shapes both theatre and television - he is the writer behind the sweeping stage adaptations Sivagami (based on Kalki’s Sivagamiyin Sabadam) and Amarapali, and has contributed scripts to the TV infotainment series, Medai. His poetic sensibilities extend to dance, having written lyrics for powerful contemporary productions like Prambanan, Human Nature, and the deeply moving Agathi. Seamlessly bridging languages and mediums, he also works closely with Mediacorp as a translator and subtitlist for the Ungalukkaga series, occasionally stepping in front of the camera for cameo appearances.
 

Samyuktha V


Samyuktha  is a versatile singer and sound engineer with a deep-seated passion for songwriting and composition. A prolific artist, she has independently released six music albums through premier platforms such as Sony Music Entertainment and Times Music. Her technical expertise as a sound engineer informs her musical journey, allowing her to blend professional production standards with her creative storytelling. In addition to her music career, Samyuktha is an active member of the theatre collective Dummies Drama, where she contributes across performance, music, and production. Her recent theatrical work highlights her range, including performing and singing in the musical Filter Coffee, serving as a directorial assistant for Mr. Stranger, and taking the stage as an actor in thanimAI. By integrating her vocal talent and technical background with her theatrical roles, Samyuktha brings a rich, multi-dimensional perspective to the contemporary stage.
 

Srija Sreeram


Srija is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and theatre practitioner who seamlessly balances artistic mastery with academic excellence. A disciple of Kalaimamani Acharya Smt. Anitha Guha since 2012 and a member of Dummies Drama since 2011, she has built a formidable repertoire, including her 2022 Arangetram and lead roles in several prestigious Nrithya Natakams. Her dedication is reflected in numerous accolades, such as the Government of India’s CCRT scholarship, the "Yuva Kala Vardhini" title, and being named a national top-10 finalist in the ICICI iSHINE competition. Her versatile talent was also recognized early on by the Mylapore Academy, which named her Best Child Artist for her performance in Vaidhyashala. In tandem with her creative pursuits, Srija has maintained a stellar scholastic record in academics. Recognized as the "Star Pupil" in 2024, she recently achieved the distinction of being the overall school and commerce topper in her Class 12 Board Examinations. By integrating the discipline of yoga into her rigorous training in dance and theatre, she exemplifies a holistic commitment to excellence, blending technical precision on stage with a focused, high-achieving academic mindset.
 

Prasannavenkatesan Chandramouli


Prasanna masterfully balances a career in technology with an active pursuit of storytelling and theatrical craft. Since his 2025 stage debut in the play Interconnected, where his performance garnered critical notice, he has rapidly evolved as a performer. This trajectory led to his selection for the prestigious Agam’s TAPESTRY Lab series (2026).  Now a key person within Thespian Sabha— a Tamil theatre incubator— Prasanna is committed to empowering emerging voices and exploring new narratives. His work is defined by a unique intersection of logic and creativity, bringing a disciplined yet deeply expressive energy to every production.

 

Suresh Ranganathan


Suresh is an enthusiastic newcomer to the stage, taking his first steps into theatre with this production. A seasoned professional in the banking and financial services industry, he brings a wealth of real-world experience alongside a deep curiosity for storytelling and live performance. Fascinated by the power of theatre, he approaches this journey with energy, openness, and a willingness to learn. When not navigating the corporate world, he enjoys observing stories unfold in everyday life.
