SYNOPSIS
Every great play begins with a spark. Transforming a fleeting thought into a powerful stage performance is an extraordinary art. In this hands-on workshop, Dummies' playwright Sreevathson deconstructs the creative process - navigating the journey of a script from single idea to structured dramatic sequence. Deep dives into character development, identifying the "knot" (the conflict), and resolving the narrative arc. Through demonstrated examples and interactive exercises, participants will move beyond theory to active creation. By the end of the session, they will have written their own micro-scripts, proving that even the shortest lines can tell compelling stories. Whether they are writing a comedy, thriller, or drama, they will learn to develop lines that stay true to the chosen genre.
Join the playwright workshop to master the art of micro-play. You will leave the workshop with a completed micro-drama - a concise piece of theatre built from your own unique vision. This can serve as a foundation for your future projects.
